Website Accessibility Legal Assessment

We are assessing potential legal claims for disabled users in Ireland who have been unable to access online goods or services because of website or app accessibility barriers.

Who this is for

You may wish to contact us if you tried to complete an online purchase, booking, payment, application, account login or other online service and could not do so because the website or app was not accessible to your disability-related needs.

This may include difficulties using a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification software, captions, voice control or other assistive technology.

Important: We are not inviting complaints based only on technical website errors or automated accessibility scans. The strongest cases involve a real person, a real online service, a real access barrier and a real personal effect.

Examples of issues

  • A screen reader could not read important checkout, booking or payment fields.
  • A button, menu, date picker or form could not be used with keyboard navigation.
  • An inaccessible CAPTCHA, login or verification step stopped the transaction.
  • Error messages were not announced or did not explain how to fix the problem.
  • You had to rely on another person or disclose private information because the online service did not work for you.
